Hip-Hop and Hurricane Katrina

The Hiphop Archive at Harvard University and the Emerging ChangeMakers Network have partnered to conduct a dynamic research project.  It captures the efforts following Hurricane Katrina, from the hiphop community, young adults and organizations that have relationship to these communites.

Through this research we are better able to understand how Katrina effected the community in the areas of social and civic organizing, emergence of new young leaders and how hip-hop responds to the community. We will keep everyone informed on when this opportunity moves further as we are anxious for its emergence.
